Today was my last day of school, ever.
I wanted to capture the floral dress, the bags, the breakfast, and the it’s-about-to-be-my-birthday baked goods.
I wanted to capture what a lifetime of learning looks like on a person - The classrooms, the peers, the teachers, and the books. The snacks, the group projects, the talking in class, and the procrastination with excellent results.
All that ambition, clutter, stress, success, and confusion was all authentically ‘Caitlin’ and not some path to who I am. I am that same little girl from preschool, if only we could trust how well we knew ourselves then. School has undeniably shaped who I am though, it created a person who needs to know what there is to learn.
The 10 most significant things of my month. No particular order.
